LipoSelection (SM) by VASER®

One of the most exciting advances in recent years is the revolutionary new LipoSelection technology by VASER®. The LipoSelection procedure allows Dr. Poulos and Dr. Hvistendahl to dissolve fat cells with gentle ultrasonic waves, specifically targeting the most stubborn deposits of fat without disturbing healthy surrounding tissue. These cells are broken apart and permanently removed through an extremely small, self-healing incision. The end result is a leaner, smoother appearance than past fat removal procedures allowed. In addition, because LipoSelection is minimally invasive, you can expect a short recovery process with virtually no scarring.

During the LipoSelection procedure, Dr. Poulos and Dr. Hvistendahl will inject a special saline solution into the area that is to be contoured. Sciton Profile Laser

"State-of-the-art" describes a new profile laser from Sciton. With multiple laser heads on one platform, Dr. Poulos and Dr. Hvistendahl can perform resurfacing, microlaser peel, laser hair removal, and treatment of veins and blemishes that previously might have required multiple laser machines with multiple treatment sessions. Special cooling plates have essentially eliminated discomfort for most treatments. The laser's computer can automatically adjust settings for different treatments based on the patient's skin type, type of hair, and other factors.

Endotine

Endotine is the newest suspension device for facial surgery, allowing midface or brow lifts through mini-incisions.

New Filler Materials

Injectable filler products such as Restylane and Perlane have revolutionized correction of soft tissue facial defects, lasting several times longer than previously available products.
